Najla was born in Riyadh Saudi Arabia then later moved to London. She was 10 years old when she returned to Saudi.

She was 12 when she first got interested with make-up. At the age of 15, her mother enrolled her in a professional makeup course by Kryolan.

At the age of 18, she took a customized course with a Hollywood based MUA known for its celebrity clients such as Kiera Knightly, JLO, Kate Hudson and George Clooney.

She worked as MUA in Jeddah until she got into university. When she moved to US after getting married, she earned a certificate in Special Effects Makeup and had been working as MUA on photo shoots.

Her transition from make- up artist to fashion design was brought about by her exposure to fashion weeks which motivated her to take a fashion course in Brooklyn and Boston Massachusetts.

In 2016 she made her first collection manufactured in NYC. She took that collection to Saudi later that year and launched her own brand.
