After high school, Amor wanted to study at the Chambre Syndicale de Haute Couture in Paris. However his parents particularly his dad refused to support him because he did not believe that career in fashion offers a stable future.

He decided to study the Italian language which opened doors to a lot of opportunities. Later on he went to the School of Fine Arts in Algiers, where he specialized in architecture and design. As a school project, he created his own couture collections.

As a designer, he is particularly impressed by John Galliano's career at Dior on how was able to propel the House forward. He also admires Alexander Mc Queen’s dark and more complex extravagant style, Jean-Paul Gaultier for being fearless and bold in breaking taboos, Coco Chanel for her daring style and Yves Saint-Laurent liberating women and making them more in control of their bodies.

Being an Algerian, his brand is a fusion of modern trends and a touch of his cultural heritage.
